I was just looking at one of my sites that runs AdSense and noticed two arrows in an AdSense block – scrolling arrows.

It seems this is something Google has been testing since late last year, but I’m wondering if it’s now a general rollout.

On checking my other sites, the same type of thing appeared. I checked a few sites I don’t own and again, scroll arrows. On clicking the arrows, the AdSense block reloads with new ads. I quite like it – it’s pretty subtle so I don’t know if the average surfer will really cotton onto it. Perhaps they need some sort of brief instruction “click for more” or similar. Anyhoo, nifty little feature and it will be interesting to see how things go revenue-wise
